Getting there fast: globalization, intercontinental flights and the location of headquarters
Airneth organizes a lunch seminar with Dr. Xavier Fageda (University of Barcelona) to discuss the influence direct non-stop long-haul flights has on the location of large firms’ headquarters in European urban areas. Dr. Fageda’s research indicates that availability of these air services is indeed one of the important factors in the decision making of firms to locate their headquarters.
