David Starkie

David Starkie is a Senior Associate with Case. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Applied Sciences, Breman; and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Adelaide. David has extensive experience in regulatory and competition economics with a particular focus on transport. He has held Government and academic positions, and has been a director of several international consulting companies.

Before becoming a professional consultant, David held various positions in UK and Australian Universities. He holds a BSc and MSc in economics from the London School of Economics. He is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Air Transport Management, co-editor of the Journal of Transport Economics & Policy, and has published widely in academic and professional journals. His latest book is Aviation Markets: Studies in Competition and Regulatory Reform (Ashgate).
