6th Airneth Annual Conference: Next generation hubs

Although Europe is currently going through a difficult period, with debt crises, stagnating economies and aviation markets, still in other areas in the world the economies and aviation markets are continuing to grow. The large BRIC-countries are well-known examples, but this holds for other areas as well, including Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and even Africa.
 
The current economic conditions, the shift in economic gravity, underlying socio-economic developments and the rise of a new generation hubs create substantial challenges, but also opportunities, for European airports, airlines and government policy.
 
The 6th Airneth Annual Conference is organized around this theme. It has the objective to shed light on these issues and to identify the challenges for Europe, and the Netherlands in particular.
