ATARD PhD Training School, Dublin, November 2017

30.09.2017

Air transport is generally considered to be a key factor for the economic competitiveness of the most developed regions of a country and for the social welfare of the less developed ones, which often are remote regions difficult to access through other transport modes. However, the relationship between air transport and regional development has not been fully investigated considering all the relevant dimensions. Building advanced knowledge about such relationships, with a focus on Europe, is the main reason for this Action.

The ATARD Training School is organized for Ph.D. students and post docs. The aim of the Training School is to provide intensive training in the methodological approaches used to evaluate the impact of air transport on regional development. Furthermore, the ATARD training schools are the place to share knowledge and increase collaboration between participants.

The deadline for application is 30 September 2017. Please download the flyer below for more information on the program, speakers and application.
